Izik Lambez was born in Tel Aviv in 1970. From 1987 to 1991 he studied painting at the Joshua Griffit studio. Another four years he studied and worked with Menashe Kadishman. Since 1994, Lambez has presented his works at exhibitions in Israel, Spain, Brazil, and Germany. He lives and works in Israel and in Spain, dividing his time between Tel Aviv and La Gomera in the Canary Islands.

The artist loves the sea, and the sea returns its gratitude by serving as a major source of inspiration. His daylight scenes convey the tranquility and warmth of a southern sea and are full of positive emotions and optimism. His night scenes resemble love serenades sung softly - so as not to disturb the peace and quiet of the night’s harmony.
